Ice Maker Repair Near Me in Greenwich Village & East Village, New York City

Small or hollow ice cubes usually indicate low water pressure or a partially clogged water inlet valve. Mineral deposits can clog the small screens in water inlet valves over time. We clean or replace the valve and flush the water line.

The most common causes are a failed water inlet valve, a broken ice maker module, a clogged water filter, or a freezer temperature that's too warm (above 10°F). We carry parts for Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, and most major brands.

Off-tasting ice is usually caused by a dirty or old water filter, a contaminated water line, or mold in the ice maker bin. Replace your water filter every 6 months, sanitize the ice bin, and flush the water line. If the issue persists, the filter head or water line may need replacement.

Ice maker leaks inside the freezer are usually caused by a misaligned fill tube, a cracked ice maker tray, or a faulty water inlet valve that drips when closed. We inspect the full ice maker assembly and replace the failing component.
